Focus. Execute. Align.

What if your actions matched the priorities you set?

Most task apps measure effort. GoalPilot measures whether that effort is moving you toward the future you say you want — and tells you honestly when it isn't.

Shannon and Taylor, GoalPilot founders

Shannon & Taylor · Founders

Our founder story

A father-and-son project built to solve a problem we both experienced — in very different ways.

Taylor is task-driven and execution-focused. He gains momentum from completing work, checking items off, and making steady progress. He is naturally productive — but productivity alone does not always guarantee that the work being completed supports the goals that matter most.

Shannon is more visionary and horizon-focused. He sees possibilities, sets ambitious goals, and thinks in terms of long-term outcomes. The challenge is maintaining focus on the daily actions, details, and follow-through required to turn those ideas into reality.

One of us was naturally focused on execution. The other was naturally focused on direction. We realized that meaningful progress requires both.

So we built GoalPilot.

Our original goal was not to create another generic task manager. We wanted a system we could use together to define what mattered, break larger goals into practical milestones and tasks, and understand whether our daily actions were actually moving us toward the future we said we wanted.

GoalPilot helps task-oriented people make sure their productivity is connected to meaningful outcomes. It helps big-picture thinkers turn ambition into consistent, focused action. Most importantly, it makes the gap between stated priorities and actual behavior visible.

What began as a tool for a father and son became something we believed could help others facing the same challenge.

We built GoalPilot for ourselves. Now we are building it for everyone who wants to turn meaningful goals into consistent daily progress.

Step 1

Focus.

Every day, pick a small number of tasks that will make today count. Not a wishlist — a commitment.

Step 2

Execute.

Complete the work. Progress is captured as it happens, not manually logged. What you did is a fact, not a story.

Step 3

Align.

At the end of each week, see how much of your attention landed on the priorities you set. The gap is the conversation.

Built for real life

Not a to-do list with better branding. A different question entirely.

01 · Capture

Speak your day into the system

Voice or brain-dump text becomes structured tasks in seconds — with the right priority, estimate, and goal attached. Never lose an idea to the friction of typing it out.

02 · Reveal

See what your attention actually reveals

Marking a task "high priority" is a claim, not a proof. GoalPilot watches which claims your behavior backs up — and which quietly get displaced by easier work.

03 · Reflect

End the day with two minutes of honesty

A short reflection each evening. AI extracts patterns from what you write over time: recurring interruptions, avoidance signals, the projects that stall out again and again.

04 · Report

Weekly and monthly reports that are actually about you

Not activity counters. Real narrative reports that tell you which goals moved, which stalled, what derailed you, and what to change next week.

The priority framework

Four moves, in this order, every week.

  1. 01

    Capture

Every goal, milestone, and task in one place. No more sticky notes or scattered lists.

  2. 02

    Clarify

Name what matters most this week — and separate it from what merely feels urgent.

  3. 03

    Review

Compare declared priorities with actual behavior. Face the gap deliberately.

  4. 04

    Complete

Adjust the plan with what you learned. Ship the work that will actually change things.
